So Somalia is an example not only of the failure of anarchist protection
markets (rampant piracy), but it also exhibits negative externalities
(pollution dumping) and tragedy of the commons (over-fishing). Now we
just need to hear about the natural-monopoly problems (cf. streets,
pipes, wires) that surely obtain there, and Somalia will be the official
poster child for anarchist market failure.
